Terms & Conditions of Holiday Villa Rental at BougainVilla

It is our aim to provide all the facilities and services you need to make your holiday at BougainVilla, happy, relaxing and safe. We would remind guests that they have a responsibility to read these terms and conditions, to understand their importance, to abide by them and ensure that their stay is without mishap or upset. The Terms and Conditions are meant to safeguard ALL parties.

1. A deposit of 30% of the total cost of the booked period to be paid upon acceptance of application. In the event of a cancellation more than 8 weeks prior to your holiday, one week's deposit is non-refundable and the second week's deposit will only be returned if an alternative booking can be found. If a cancellation is made less than 8 weeks prior to the holiday the full amount is due. We would advise clients to take full Travel, Medical, Cancellation and Personal Insurance. |
2. Please note that bookings will be released without return of the reservation deposit if the full balance is not received on the due date, namely 6 weeks before the reserved holiday period. Confirmation of booking, receipts and reminders will be sent to you by e-mail. |
3. Clients are wholly responsible for any damage or losses to the property and contents and must inform the owners of any damage incurred during their stay and to pay for any damages or missing items and excessive or unusual services consumed. |
4. A security deposit of £200 will be notified on the final invoice and will be refunded in full or in part on your return home. |
5. Price includes gas (for cooking only), electricity and water. This is based on average consumption, and the owner reserves the right to charge for excessive use of these services. Any charges would be deducted from the security deposit being held. |
6. Bed linen and towels are provided and any damage caused by misuse or cosmetic products will be charged for and deducted from the security deposit. |
7. The accommodation, services and facilities of the property let are solely for the use of those named on the booking form or as otherwise agreed in writing. |
8. The maximum sleeping capacity, including infants, must not be exceeded under any circumstances. If the party using the Villa and facilities, including pool and grounds, is found to differ from those named on the booking form, or exceed the maximum capacity, the right is reserved to make additional charges or ask members of the party to vacate the property. The owners reserve the right to take any action deemed necessary if the property, its pool or its grounds is deemed to be abused or misused. |
9. Clients are requested to have consideration for other residents in the area and not to cause any nuisance. Noise should be kept to a minimum and the volume of any music should be reduced after 11pm. |
10. No responsibility can be taken by the owners for anyone in or around the property or in or near the pool and gardens. |
11. Any complaints, either on arrival or after occupation has commenced should be brought to the attention of the owners immediately so that any remedial action, where necessary, can be taken without delay. For our part, we will do everything possible to deal with any difficulties both quickly and effectively so as to minimize any adverse effect on your holiday. |
12. The owners retain the right for them or a representative to enter the property at any reasonable time for the purposes of cleaning, to deal with any complaints and to carry out any repairs necessary to the property or equipment. |
13. The pool and grounds will be maintained during your stay and under no circumstances must tenants interfere with equipment or materials |
14. Clients are required to leave the villa including the outdoor areas and barbeque, clean and tidy with all waste removed. Failure to do so means that we reserve the right to deduct an extra cleaning charge from the security deposit. Clients are fully responsible for the disposal of rubbish and are asked to place all rubbish in the bin provided at the allocated point. |
15. In rural Turkey the presence of animals, birds and insects in surrounding countryside and, on occasion, found in inaccessible places such as eaves, and attics is inevitable. Visitors are reminded that this is normal and we cannot take action to remove such creatures unless it is deemed to be a serious nuisance. |
16. The property is available from 4pm onwards and tenants must vacate the property by 10am on the day of departure. |
17. Smoking is not permitted. |
18. Pets are not permitted. |
19. The owners do not accept any responsibility for any injury to adults or children in the party nor for any damage to or loss of the clients’ personal belongings. |
20. The owners do not accept any responsibility for any claim arising as a result of any matter over which they have no control including property and animals not owned by them |
21. The villa is let for holiday purposes only and must be vacated at the agreed date and time. |
22. Gates to the villa must be closed at all times to prevent the local hungry goats and sheep from entering the property. It is not necessary to lock the gates but feel free to do so if you prefer |
23. Usually you get a welcoming warm breeze but sometimes the wind can be strong enough to lift parasols and cushions etc. Whilst staying at BougainVilla it is your responsibility to secure all parasols and sun lounger cushions inside the patio room before you retire in the evening and also during the day if there is a strong wind. |
23. Generally you can be assured your personal belongings will be safe while visiting Turkey; the crime rate is very very low but for your own peace of mind please be sure to close all windows and lock all doors when leaving the villa unoccupied. |
24.Bookings made up to 3 weeks before departure must be paid in full by same day bank transfer. |
| 25. The pool has no shallow end but does have wide corner steps for easy access. It is a STRICTLY NO DIVING POOL. |
